My Inspirations

Two photographers that inspired me while I did my work were Cartier Bresson and Ansel Adams. I enjoyed the aspect of that decisive moment of a photo that Cartier Bresson created. The idea that there is a perfect moment to capture an image, an image where if it was taken a mili-second later the captured image would not exist. I love his idea that there is one moment to capture an image that can speak such volumes.

Ansel Adams with his amazing photos of Yellowstone National Park. He was an inspiration when I took my landscape pictures that show the beauty of our world. With pictures of landscapes I believe that the element of that decisive moment is present with the inspiration of Ansel Adams landscapes. The landscapes captured are in their own decisive moment to which they will not return.
